The iPod accessory

iBoo

Following on from the girls iPig, the iBoo is highly reminiscent of the Pacman ghosts, so is probably more appropriate for the man in your life than a pig. Again its an iPod dock with a bit of personality, and sure to brighten up the bedside table a bit.

The cute cheap one

Retro Game Sweets Tin

Good if your guy is a gamer. Choose from Pacman and his ghost buddies, or a Mario themed mushroom and star. Each tin contains appropriate sweets, and now whenever he thinks about his awesome high score in the summer of ’93 he’ll also think of you. Aww. (Plus you can steal the tin for pretty things once he’s finished them…)

The mobile phone

Sony Ericsson Satio

Since I reviewed it recently I’ve remained impressed with the Satio. And I think it has everything possibly ever needed to make a man feel like a god, what with the 12mp camera, and the downloadable aps – which includes a free spirit level for when he’s being all manly and putting up your shelves.

The slightly naughty one

Nooki

Since Gaj-it is family friendly, I’ll not describe Nooki exactly. But it’s a board game for the bedroom, and centres around different cards for each of you, which range from ‘mmm’ to ‘ooh’ to ‘ahh’ and have different directions for what you should be doing to achieve the desired sound. Have fun.

The romantic one

As the book says, men are from Mars. Boys are hard to get romantic gifts for, so go for something truly out of this world and buy your bloke a piece of planet. An acre might not be enough to build a house on, but think of the bragging rights. And when the world gets too much, you can both curl up and look at the map which shows you exactly where you two could go to get away from it all.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
