After remaining tight lipped recently, Apple will need get their skates on to tell us more about their rumoured iSlate/Tablet device as Lenovo have just released their IdeaPad S10-3t at CES 2010.
News from CES has told us that the Lenovo Ideapad S10-3t, which has been deemed as the Apple Tablet killer is already available to pre-order on Amazon at $499.99. The 10.1 inch S10-3t is the tech world’s first multi-touch capacitive ‘netvertible’ (netbook convertible) tablet. Ok, so if you thought the description was a bit of a mouthful then in a nutshell, this video, reporting straight from CES shows how the NaturalTouch responsive fingertip touch screen technology vs pressure touch technology, creates a truly mesmerised netbook user touch experience. We were also impressed to find that you could choose to flip the screen around allowing the orientation to adjust automatically thanks to the accelerometer.
Now the only downside with the S10-3t is that the netbook is a little on the heavy side due to its hinge and the thick touchscreen, however if people are detered away from these minor altercations then they might want to opt for the S10-3t younger brother, the 10 inch and 2.4 pounds S10-3 netbook which would only set you back $399.
Check out the video and tell us whether you think this could be the new Apple Tablet Killer:
