Christmas shopping should be just starting to encroach onto your ‘to do’ list. Over the next few weeks I'll continue to be showing you what you should be buying for various different loved ones. This week- what to buy your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife"¦
Well you know what they say- ladies first. So lets start with five gifts for your lady love.
1- Philips Sensual Massager
A long day running round preparing the Christmas meal and making sure that the relatives don’t get into any more boxing matches will take it out of a person. So this gift is great for a relaxing evening. Get some massage oil, lay your lady down and let the massager do all the work while you get all the credit for being so caring. Win. (I was the lucky recipient of one of these recently- I can highly recommend it! Philips also do a whole range of these massagers- they don’t just make electric tooth brushes!).

2- Tao Digital Photo Keyring
I’ve promoted photo keyrings on Gaj-it before, but they haven’t lost any of their appeal. This little beauty holds 8MP worth of photos, so thats about 100 photos that your girlfriend/ wife can carry round and whip out to show people at any time without having to fiddle round finding the right place on the mobile phone. Preload it with pictures of your fondest memories together for added ‘aww’ factor (just maybe leave off that… intimate… one if she’ll be taking her presents to show her Dad later…)

3- Create Your Own Fragrance
Every 2-bit celebrity these days seems to bring out a perfume to sell to the public over Christmas. Why not buck the trend this year and instead of making your missus smell like Jordan (failure, permatan and a hint of cross dressing boyfriend? No thank you) let her create her own signature scent with this experience day. At the end, she’ll receive a 20ml spray in a presentation box, plus a certificate of authenticity- she even gets to come up with the name (something to do during the Queen’s Speech).

4- Your Last Rolo
Wanting to give her something cute but meaningful this year? Well do you remember the ‘Do you love anyone enough to give them your last rolo?’ campaign? I sure do. And now your loved one can be presented with your last rolo cast in sterling silver and laid in a beautiful presentation box. It’s sweet, it’s completely useless, but as far as the the thought counting goes then it’s totally awesome (any you get to eat the chocolate version all to yourself for the rest of your life).

5- Microwaveable Hot Boots
This is what I’m asking for for Christmas. There’s no end to the microwavable products available this year- soft toys tend to be readily available- but personally I’m always looking to keep my feet warmest and sticking Pinky the Pig down there just doesn’t feel right. With these boots, warm and toasty feet as she sleeps are a definite (a shoe in, one might say!). And besides- she’s got you to cuddle for warmth hasn’t she?

Right girls that’s you sorted- but what are you getting the mister in return? Read on…

1- Triple Whammy Experience
Get his pulse racing without doing any of that silly dancing or dressing up in uncomfortable clothes. With this experience package, your significant other can experience a zip wire, abseiling, and a go in a parachute descender (like an indoor parachute jump). A huge adrenaline rush for him, and you can sit on the side lines with the coffee thermos for when he’s knees give out at the end of it!

2- X-Rocker PRO Advanced Gaming Chair
Actually, I really want one of these! Sick of seeing your man stretched across the sofa squinting at Gears of War and pretending to be a soldier boy? Gaming Chairs are designed to full immerse the gamer in the action through the use of surround sound. As well as being compatible with all the current generation consoles, the X-Rocker PRO Advanced also works with MP3 players so you can steal it to curl up in when he’s out of it (which won’t be often unfortunately). It’s wireless too- so no tripping over cables!

3- Equaliser Music Hat
If your man is a bit of a music buff then this is a cool gadget for him. The Equaliser Music Hat not only keeps his ears warm while he’s listening to his iPod, but in a similar manner to the T-equaliser t shirts turns his head into a light display. Two blue symbols along the side react to the beat of the music and flash along to whatever he’s listening to. Guaranteed to make him even more annoying on trains…

4- Weenicons
Looking for something more stocking filler style? Weenicons are something cute and a little kitsch which won’t demasculinate your mister like a fuzzy monkey in an ‘I <3 U’ t shirt. They’re little chibi style models in the shape of various celebrities. Mourn the death of Michael Jackson, or show the world that Elvis is still alive- or just celebrate the coolness that is Rocky or Mr T!

5- Man Flu Rescue Kit
Just as it comes time to wash up after Christmas dinner we all know what will happen. ‘Ooh I feel- I’m off to have a lie down’. The poor mites. Man Flu is a million times worse than Swine Flu and we ladies should be treating it as a serious disease. This emergency kit contains an ice pack for his poor head, a pad of sick notes for his poor boss, and a thermometer for his poor mouth (although I bet that’s not where you’ll want to stick it after ten minutes playing nurse…)

I like the digital keyring, the price is good as well.
Some lovely gadgets. I’ll have to throw a hint to get anything from this list.
Thank you very much for sharing information with all. I like your ideas. I am more worried about price but its worth of it.
One other great product for the runner/jogger in your life is the Body Bottle. It is a water bottle that straps to the bicep and is much more comfortable than all the other water bottles on the market. And there is a 20% at bodybottle.com
Deepak- if you go to the gift guides section on the right then there’s a recent guide for credit crunch gifts that you should have a look at.
My favorite gift to give during Christmas day is a fruit basket with toys and gift certificates. they can really put a smile on someone’s face-;,
them microwaveable boots would be the best present every, ohh, so snug on a winters night. Yes please!
