Block Light: Be a Bright Designer

If you thought Alien Vs. Predator was a long overdue cross-over, wait until you see Lego Vs. 40 watts! Perhaps that marketing theme could be a bit catchier, but the idea certainly is a winner. Block Light is an innovative lamp which lets you completely design its look.

This is the perfect light for all of you mechano lovers out there, as this lamp fixture requires some DIY and artistic flair. Complete with 219 small, 16 medium, and 4 large blocks, the sky (or ceiling) is the limit with regards to how you arrange them. And don’t worry if you can only stand 200 watt brightness, each block is made out of heat resistant plastic.

You will need to provide your own bulb, but with the huge range of bulb colours and shapes on the market today, you can only have fun shopping for one that will add to the “wow factor” of your lamp. No more will you have to rely on big name designers to get the look you desire because with this light you can make it look as classic or as radical as you want, so it really will fit any home and any space.

Mood lighting just got more interesting with this post-date talking point, allowing you to tell the love of your life that you designed this shape because it reminded you of them. Just ease up on the bricks around the mid-section.

This is a great idea for getting kids involved as their imagination can be let loose constructively instead of via means such as crayoning the hallway walls. Priced at a nifty £25, it has to be a definite contender for the next time you go present shopping.

  • That lamp is a plagiurism, the real and only lamp like lego is KREATON, made in Italy 100%, with international patent, and very very safety

  • Is really a joke.
Cinese can not copy all made in Italy.
the real product is modular and componible, is KREATON, made in Italy, safe and with an international patent.
    should rebel

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
