Apple Snow Leopard Wallpapers!

Back before time, Apple announced that their new Snow Leopard wouldn’t include a whole set of new features like Leopard did when they converted from Tiger. They did however say they will try and improve how the whole software looks, and now Apple have released it’s default wallpapers, something that they always do as a little taster.

Apple always seem to bring out a feature wallpaper too, last time it was the “Aurora” background and this seemed to be present on most of Apple’s adverts etc. Look below to see that.

Now i stuck with my lovely  “aurora” display for some time because it looks good but will the new wallpapers have the same effect as the last ones?

The images range from Nature through to Plants and even Graffiti so you have got a wide choice. You can even make it look like you’ve upgraded when in fact you actually haven’t!

I took a look at the Windows 7 wallpapers and in my opinion these ones are better but what do you think?

  • Does this mean that we lose the wallpapers from Leopard when we upgrade to Snow Leopard? I really hope not, because I really like them. Hope the Snow Leopard ones are in addition rather than instead. Anyone able to confirm?

  • Hi Tim, the only info any body has to go on is simply what Apple have done in the past and unfortunately when they switched from Tiger to Leopard that brought a new set of default wallpapers. But i’m with you, i really like the Leopard ones so i’m there will be a way of getting them back, no problems!

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
