Samsung Tocco Lite: Pink is the New Black

There’s quite a lot of grey and black plastic floating around in the mobile phone market which, let’s face it, isn’t so appealling when you’re a teenager trying to assert your individuality amongst all of hand-me-down-old-office mobiles at school.carphonetocco

This is why Samsung has released the Tocco Lite in a fetching shade of pink, that is sure to match some accessory of the female youth.

This pink version of the phone is exclusively offered through the Carphone Warehouse for a reasonable £99.95.

It’s not just the exterior that is designed to appeal to the young socialite in the family, the Tocco Lite comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and video capture mode, so any budding photographers or movie makers can hone their skills around the canteen.

The handset also has an MP3 player and FM radio, which means if mum and dad buy this phone, there’s no need to follow through in the promised iPod for Christmas.

All of this media is great in its own right, but the Tocco Lite has an extra way to make use of them. It comes with instant access to a range of social networking sites, meaning you can upload that group-hug pic to your Facebook profile seconds after you take it.

This phone is a great alternative to the Tocco Ultra edition, that may be out of reach for the average rate of pocket money going these days.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
