Free flights with Dell Inspiron or Studio 15

The kind folks at Dell are offering free return flights to the US or Europe for punters willing to pony up the requisite cash for an Inspiron 15 or Studio 15 laptop, now isn’t that generous.free_flight_dells

Naturally there are a couple of stipulations, such as flights to the US can only depart from Gatwick or Heathrow and only go to New York, Washington DC or Boston. Those of you interested in taking the Euro route have the option of Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Paris, Dublin, Lisbon, Oslo and Krakow.

The European option adds a few more departure airports to the list too, you can get the full skinny over on the official Dell UK page.

So, what’s this free flight going to cost you?

Well, if you’re in the market for a new laptop anyway then this seems like a pretty good deal; the Inspiron 15 starts from just £499 and the unmodified model comes with a T6400 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

Or if you’re looking for something with a bit more pizazz, the new Studio 15 might be more your speed. The base on this starts from £599; and for your hard earned cash you get the same 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor as the Inspiron, 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a 2-megapixel integrated webcam.

What are you waiting for?

  • Found this page, clicked on the link, saw that it ended on 24.06 and got excited. Then realised why the Dell page was going nowhere – it is an 09 promo. You would have thought they’d take the page down.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
