AppleiPhoneApps.com reports that the new iPhone will go on sale on July 17th. AppleiPhoneApps have reported no sources to where the information came from but they do give many intriguing details, some of which have been previously unheard.
Some details then have already surfaced on the rumor mill, but some are added to these and could cause quite a stir:
- 32GB and 16GB to replace the current models
- OLED screen
- 3.2MP camera
- Video recording and editing capabilities
- No metal band around the surface or the phone
- Double the RAM and processing power
- Apple logo on the back to light up
- Rubber-tread backing
- 1.5 x the battery-life
- $199 and $299 price-points to be maintained (quite what this compares to in terms of the pound I couldn’t say with the current state of the financial market)
These details cover all the rumors we’ve heard previously about the next generation iPhone quite well, so there is a pretty good chance that all this information from the source is legit.
The ever important unveil date has not been announced yet, but thinking back to a previous post of mine, the WWDC will be on 8th June, so what better place for Apple to announce their new iPhone model.
