Nokia has today revealed an update to the existing 6600 handset in the form of the 6600i .
The Nokia 6600i Slide has been announced today as the replacement for the existing 6600 and with it comes a raft of improvements.
The handset comes with the same 2.2-inch 16 million colour QVGA display, but thankfully the camera has been upgraded from 3.2 to 5-megapixels and comes with a dual LED flash.
The paltry usable internal memory of 20MB still remains but at least now there will be a 1GB microSD card bundled in the retail version as standard. If however, your storage needs are a little more comprehensive, the 6600i will support microSD cards up to 16GB.
All the other usual suspects are present too, such as; Bluetooth 2.0, 3G connectivity, accelerometer and Nokia Maps.
The new Nokia 6600i Slide is expected to retail for around €200 Euro when it starts shipping in Q3 of this year.
