One of the highlights for us at the Gadget Show Live over the weekend was the chance for a hands-on experience with the new Sony Ericsson W955 Walkman Phone.
This handset has been designed to be the complete entertainment experience and its specs show that Sony Ericsson are serious about this handset.
The W955 features Sony Ericsson’s new Media Go application, which allows you easily drag and drop video clips, tracks, photos and more between your phone and PC.
With an 8.1 megapixel camera, it equals the best mobile phone cameras on the market today, and even rivals some digital cameras. With such high-res photos though, you’ll need a lot of memory and the W955 delivers with 8GB so you can snap away to your heart’s content.
It has a 2.6 inch display screen which is decent for video playback. The handset also supports Turbo 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity so that you can download the latest movies and TV shows.
We had a chat to to Sony Ericsson at the Gadget Show Live and here’s an early look at the phone that’s due to hit shops in June.
