Swivel display Spider-phone available now….in Hong Kong

A slightly late-to-the-party, movie tie-in, spider-phone is now up for sale for a respectable HK$1180, that’s about £104 to us. tv98-spider-phone-screen

This China-only special comes with a 2-megapixel snapper, red and black themed Spiderman casings and a sweet looking keypad.

Interestingly too the screen on this webby beauty comes replete with cool swivelling action, presumably so that you could err, watch widescreen videos of dolphins as the picture seems to be showing. Hmmm. Actually, we’re pretty sure that that’s a desktop background, which begs the question – why no Spiderman pic instead!!

  • Is it me or is it just a gimmick?

This is what I dont like about these kind of phones – whereas the iPhone has functionality and beauty.

    Shame…

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
