Mac OS X Snow Leopard….Development Continues

apple-logo-rainbow1Less than a week ago, Apple issued its developer community with a new version of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, named build 10A286. World of Apple have re – seeded the notes of the build, and build 10A286 is said to contain a new quicktime with a “minimal UI”, a new look for the Finder in which it has a cocoa interface and the new Safari 4 Beta has been included. All developers have also been asked to run this new build of Snow leopard in 64 – bit mode.

The latest build however, released late Friday and named 9J27, has asked developers to focus their efforts on over 20 core components including AirPort, Bluetooth, Sound and USB capabilities.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard is due for release sometime in 2009, and Apple seem to be making very steady progress with its new operating system, this can be seen by the frequent release of new material in terms of new builds. Apple gave many new features when they released Mac OS X Leopard which updated from Mac OS X Tiger, but this time around Apple have said that they  focusing on the quality and performance of Snow Leopard rather than including many new features to it. This therefore may put the company more in touch with Microsoft, who at the moment on average still see the majority of usage in the computer world. Lets go Apple!
