news-22116-26624880ff79a904583b3da221c3db44jpg613x700Nokia have announced their new music phone, the 5630 XpressMusic. And this phone adds to the XpressMusic family as a slim candybar, and it looks gorgeous.

We’ll probably first see the phone in flesh at the MWC 2009, and the 5630 XpressMusic packs alot of features that Nokia have previously left to their more hearty handsets.

At 12mm thin, it’s a full Symbian S60 device which means it’s a smartphone, as well as packing 3G, a 3.2 megaixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 4GB microSD card in the box. The phone also features HSUPA for fast upload speeds and HSDAP for quick download speeds.

If all that wasn’t enough for you Nokia fans, the phone also incorporates N-gage gaming, which is unusual for a non-N-series device but it allows access to all the games the platform has to offer, therefore being possibly the closest thing to an N-series smartphone, without being an N-Series.

Nokia have planned to release this mobile hotness somewhere near you from the end of April, with a surprisingly low price tag of around £150/ £160. This looks like a bargain, as the only thing visibly missing from it’s features is GPS, and XpressMusic fans don’t want this anyway.

Gaj-Iteers should be looking forward to this one, as it looks great and has a lot of new and very usable features. This is definitely a phone I’ll be looking out for at the MWC 2009.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
