Want the latest ATI Drivers on your Laptop? Well now you can

If you're like me a hard core gamer, you're always a bit disappointed by the fact that your ATI graphics card in your laptop still uses the old and quite frankly crap drivers.

It does not seem to matter how many times you e-mail the manufacturer of your laptop saying

Please Sir\Madam (don't be sexist) my graphic drivers are version 4.1 but ATI have just released version 8.7 can you please update the drivers on your website to this version

You can even try bribing them with cash or even your sister (you got to get rid of her somehow) but no matter that you try the answer is always no.

Well DriverHeaven have released something they call a ‘Mobility Modder’ which to you and me will allow you to install the latest drivers from ATI onto your laptop, brilliant.

I’ll be trying this tonight and if all this goes to plan I'll be writing a guide up for you on my happy ATI graphics card.

If you can’t wait until then feel free to visit their site, simply click here if you get the chance to try this out for your self before me please feel free to leave a comment on how you got on.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
