The Nokia 6300 arrived in 2006 and was one of the company's most successful products, topping all sales records for a mid-range mobile phone.
Nokia have today announced three new handsets, the 6700 classic, the 6303 classic and the 2700 classic, all created with the same ‘formula’ that has made Nokia the world leader in mobile phones.
Soren Peterson, Senior Vice President, Nokia says that the 6700 shares the same 'DNA' as the 6300 and with its beautiful, slim design and perfectly balanced practicality. He believes it will be one of Nokia's best selling devices in 2009. The 6700 features a 5megapixel camera, assisted GPS, Nokia Maps and HSDPA. It has an estimated retail price of 235euros *before taxes*.
The 6303 features a 3.2megapixel camera, a 2.2inch screen, Nokia Maps, a music player and a 3.5mm jack. Amongst a host of features, it boasts excellent battery life and will retail at an estimated price of 135euros *before taxes*.
The 2700 is the most affordable of all three handsets, at an estimated retail price of 35euros *before taxes*. It offers up to 2GB memory via SDcard slot, has an integrated music player and a 2.0megapixel camera.
All three handsets will include access to Nokia's Ovi service and are expected to ship in Q2 2009.
