CES: Mobinnova Ice – "Prepare for a New Sensation"

Moninnova is the Taiwan-based company responsible for the production of the next version of the Sony Xperia. They launched their own handset at CES, the Mobinnova Ice.

It's a chic and attractive looking handset. It weighs an acceptable 120 grams with dimensions of 114×53.5x13mm. It features a large and clear 3inch WQVGA LCD display. The touch sensitive screen features Mobinnova's own MobiFeel technology, providing tactile feedback to the user.

You will also find MobiToday, the company's own touch friendly user interface providing quick, intuitive access to people, entertainment and information.

The handset runs on Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system and uses a 528Mhz Qualcomm MSM7201ATM processor. It has 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM and features a microSD slot, with SDHC support, for expansion of the phone's internal memory.

It features GPS and A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP, mini USB 2.0 and TV-out. It comes with a media player for music and video and an FM radio.

It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and dedicated shutter control, however no mention of a flash. There's also a front facing VGA camera for video calling.
