It seems those clever hackers have been at it once again. Having been released only a few days ago, these clever people have managed to gain access to features that allow them to customize their ‘Home’ further than Sony originally allowed.

One such feature they have gained access to and one I think you will agree is open to abuse, is the ability to and I quote “upload any file to the Home server, or delete any file from the Home server”.

This in itself is a one way ticket to disasterville. I can see 10 years olds now using their Home to exchange some videos on some fluffy bunnies, but another day that video might change to a very different bunny.

Maybe Sony should go down the Microsoft route and start employing these hackers as part of thier testing teams, then maybe we wont see something like this happening for a while.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
