For now they’re in our theatre! Japan’s to be precise. Once a place where philosophy ruled and the occasional geisha would sing and dance but not now! Robots are programmed to act out a 20-minute play, where they have there own lines too.
They made their debut on the Osaka University, in Japan’s first robot productions, (which is sure, not to be the last.)
The play focuses on to housekeeping robots, whom soon, quickly lose the motivation to work and enter into a conversation with humans, and express how boring their lives are. Cannot wait till its release on Blu-ray.
However, jokes aside, it’s manufacturer Mitsubishi, superiorly have there foot wedged in the door with this one. Let us hope that we see some more exciting gadgets from them soon!
By 2010 the robots will have a full-length production in place. For now, the robots will be keeping out of the lime light, and away from the night clubs, avoiding heat magazines "stars behaving badly".
