Unveiled today in Barcelona, is the next Nokia Nseries handset, the N97.
Classed as the world's most advanced mobile computer, the N97 is designed for those social bunnies that can't live without the internet. The N97 makes it super easy to email, update Facebook statuses (yeah you know who you are!), stream Flash videos, play games and browse the web over HSDPA and WLAN.
The handset features a 3.5" tilting touch screen with 16:9 widescreen display. The customizable display can be fully personalized with widgets of favourite internet applications or social networking sites.
With a slide out full QWERTY keyboard or on screen touch pad, blogging, posting, chatting, texting and emailing is promised to be easy and efficient.
The N97 has an internal memory of 32GB and be expanded up to 48GB with a 16GB microSD card.
The handset features excellent music capabilities and fully supports the Nokia Music Store. It has a continuous playback time of up to 1.5 days.
It has a respectable 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and features DVD quality video capture.
Introducing the concept of ‘social location’, the N97 features assisted GPS and an electronic compass so this mobile computer intuitively understands where it is.

Expected to begin shipping in the first half of 2009, the N97 has an estimated retail price of £470 (before taxes or subsidies).
