Microsoft riding the Mii wave

Well it seems that Microsoft may doing it old skool with the leaked information that it may be developing Nintendo Wii style Mii’s on its XBOX console.

Now you may be asking why I’m classing it as ‘old skool’?

Well did you know that the original Windows release was actually a Mac development until Bill Gates ‘stole’ the idea (no there was no copyright laws on it back then) and rebranded it under his ‘Microsoft’ logo we all know and love/loath today.

These Xbox Mii’s will be used on the XBOX Live service to replace the Xbox Live gamer pictures and will probably be used just like the Nintendo's very own Mii’s are.

This leaked information also goes on to state that there will be hundred of clothing options created for people who feel the need to customize their virtual persona further.

So apart from the clothing options which may make it a little bit different from the Mii’s that can be found on the Nintendo machine (They are kitted out in your favorite color) it seems that Microsoft have taken another idea and added a spin on it, but remove the fancy make-up and scratch the surface and we may see just another Nintendo Mii.

But hey nowadays new ideas are half stolen, half renovated so lets wait and see what Microsoft have to say about this.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
