Cyber Clean: Flubber for Keyboards

This “Flubber” look alike is something that I know will get a few of you gadget-obsessed excited. No there is no on switch and it doesn’t do anything flashy, but it will make your current gadgets brand spanking new again and without any germs.

Cyber Clean will squeeze itself into the crevices of your keyboard and instantly kill all germs on contact. Now seriously, take a look in between your keys and tell me there’s not a little eco-system breeding there. After one use of Cyber Clean, you can fear fluff and mould growth no longer!

Despite its gooey appearance, it won’t leave any sign of a sticky residue so won’t damage your precious electrical gadgets.

You don’t need to stop at whichever shared keyboard you’re currently on (think of the germs…) but you can also use this ingenious device to clean other gadgets that gather fingerprints and bacteria like remote controls, mobile phones, MP3 Players, cameras or those dreaded moments when you’re forced to use a public phone because you’ve run out of credit on your mobile.

The goo will even change colour to let you know that its magic cleaning powers are on the wane and it’s time to get a new one.

Think this is a bit of a gimmick? The guys over at iWoot claim that there is more bacteria on your keyboard than on a public toilet seat. Nice.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
