The DELL Inspiron 1720 – A Gamers Laptop

DELL have been a big name in the Laptop market for years now, but their Inspiron range has been suffering of late due to cosmetic errors, the Inspiron 1720 has taken steps to amend this and it seems this is one laptop that will suit gamers on a budget.

This laptop comes in a variety of colours so you can have a laptop that stands out in the crowd, not only this but this laptop is quick, and I mean super quick. Being built with 3GB of DDR2 Ram this laptop can run every kind of application you can think of without even breaking a sweat and combine this with its Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS card it will play all of the games out on the market at the moment with easy as well.

Now you're thinking where this laptop fails, and to be honest I can't really find any problems, it comes with a decent Intel Core Duo processor running at around 1.80 GHz which is standard for most laptops on the market but they don't come with this kind of hardware under the casing.

The only real problem I can see this laptop is that it has not been designed for mobile users, its rather big when comparing it to others of its kind and due to this is a tad heavier as well, but as I use my laptop mostly on the train or in most sat down positions this does not really seem like a big problem for me.

If however your one of those people who use their laptops to watch DVDs on their TVs bear in mind that this laptop uses the standard S-video connection so you will not be using this laptop to enjoy and of the new hi-def features that are coming out on the market.

Finally I cant help but love this laptop, it offers everything I need in terms of gaming and it is more than capable at running all of my office applications as well should the urge catch me unawares to do some work.
