Lotto Ball: The USB Gizmo that could make you a millionaire (fingers crossed!)

"I wish I'd win the lottery". That's my official most common saying these days. And do you know what? It would help if I actually did the lottery! But there are so many these days, it's confusing. When the lottery first started, it was on Saturday. Now there seems to be one for every day of the week. Well, almost. You've got Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, National Lottery, Euro Millions, Thunderball. My head's in a pickle already.

So, if I actually figure out what on earth I'm doing and on what day, well, that's one problem solved. Next is the tedious task of picking the numbers. Well I'm as indecisive as a faulty Magic 8 Ball.

So, for something more exciting than "erm, lucky dip please love" that you hear so often in the queue at the local shop, check out the Lotto Ball!

No, it's not a ball. Rather a novelty USB gadget, in the form of a fully functioning lottery machine. The Lotto Ball bounces the tiny numbered balls, randomly picking out numbers that may just help you to win millions… ok, so maybe just a tenner.

The Lotto Ball can be powered simply by USB connection or by batteries. It comes with user friendly software which keeps track of your numbers and also informs you how many of your numbers match as you input the numbers from the real draw.

I reckon the Lotto Ball would make a great stocking filler this festive season. And if your recipient did win the lotto, it may just turn out to be the best prezzy ever!

Unfortunately, the Satzuma website is less than useful and provides no way of purchasing the item, nor does it provide any indication of distributors. And for the life of me, I cannot seem to find anywhere on the huge world wide web, to pick up this little gizmo. If you have any luck, let me know!

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
