Virgin Media Come to Gamers' Aid: To Co-Sponsor Eurogamer Expo 2012

Virgin Media and Eurogamer Expo have entered into collaboration for their 2012 show. Under this new agreement, Virgin Media would be offering its ultra high speed broadband for Eurogamer Expo, which would mean that the gamers would be able to download their games at good 120Mbps speed. It is expected that about 50,000 gamers would be attending this 4-days long gaming Expo.

Luke Southern of Virgin Media said, "The Eurogamer Expo is a landmark, annual event for UK gamers, who want sneak previews of brand new games and be able to experience the best that technology can deliver. Virgin Media makes that happen, with superfast broadband as standard." Eurogamer is also positive about the collaboration and has said that it would make the Expo even more exciting.

Eurogamer added, "This partnership underlines how far the show has come and is ever more relevant with the industry moving increasingly towards digital, and Virgin Media’s superfast broadband has long been a favourite with bandwidth-hungry gamers.” Virgin Media will also have its presence on Eurogamer websites.

The Expo is scheduled for 27th to 30th of September this year and will held at London's Earls Court. While gamers would benefit from fast internet speed, Virgin Media customer will also get to enjoy discounts on Expo tickets. They will also get a chance to preview upcoming games.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
