Kindle Fire Owners Bring More Revenue for Amazon

Amazon has got super star product in Kindle and its latest variant Kindle Fire has also proved its worth. According to a recent report by research firm ChangeWave, 29 percent of Kindle owners plan to spend more money on buying goods and services from Amazon.

However, the bad news is that only 54 percent of Kindle Fire owners rated their experience with the tablet as 'very satisfactory'. Additional 38 percent of Kindle Fire owners consider themselves somewhat satisfied. A similar survey late last year had revealed that 74 percent of iPad users are 'very satisfied' with their experience. Even for other tablets, the 'very satisfied' ratio was as high as 49 percent. ChangeWave report suggests that this ratio is "highly predictive of future demand of that device".

The report also reveals that Kindle Fire's price point is its most attractive selling point as 59 percent of the Fire owners claimed that the tablet's pricing was the main factor behind their purchase decision. 31 percent of the owners said that their purchase decision was influenced by the tablet's color screen. While the tablet is very conservatively priced, 21 percent of the owners still complained about the lack of camera. 27 percent of the owners expressed their dislike about the lack of physical buttons.

I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
