Rumors are suggesting that Apple is planning a media event, to be held in January. Though, it is being speculated that Apple may introduce new iPad in January, but now it is being reported that the event will actually be focused on iBooks and Publishing. According to TechCrunch, there is little possibility of iAd being discussed. iAd is Apple's mobile advertising platform.
All Things Digital was the first to break the news. The blog also claimed that Apple is not expected to make any announcement regarding its much-talked about Apple TV. The Cupertino company is, instead expected to focus on media and allied topics. The supposition is plausible since Apple generally release its hardware later in the year. Further, there are reports stating that Apple's HDTV is still in the prototype stage and nowhere near the stage, where it can be released to public.
But let's just keep it in mind that Apple has not even confirmed or denied the rumors about the January event. So, in this case, news about the subjects of the event are purely speculative. Apple is known for keeping its plans super secretive and under wraps, so no surprise here that the company has refused to issue any comments.
