BlackBerry screwed it up big time last week and now it is going to pay the price. The company officials have already gone on the record asking for forgiveness. However, as Sony has already shown us, there is no better way to placate your angry customers than to offer them some freebies. So, now it is BlackBerry's turn and the company is now offering about $100 worth of free apps from its store. The company is offering 12 of its premium apps for free and the offer is good till 31st of December, 2011. The apps would be available for free download from October 19th.
The free app suite would contain apps like SIMS 3, Bejeweled, Bubble Bash 2 and N.O.V.A. Apart from these gaming apps, RIM is also going to offer a couple of premium utility apps such as DriveSafe.ly Pro and Photo Editor Ultimate. The complete list of the apps is as follows:
