Have you ever been walking around trying to find a shop in town, or been heading to that job interview and wish you had a map with you?
Well now your wishing is over with the new Nokia 6210 and this is due to its in-built GPS navigation software.
This navigation software is not only designed for one type of job but in fact two different types!
With a compass included its ideal for when you're on foot and its rather nifty while in the car too.
As well as this it's got a fast 3.5G connection speed for fast browsing and with its 2.4″ screen its easy to look at.
But this feature doesn't come free, well it does for 6 months due to its bundled licence, but after this you will be expected be pay the related fees.
The only downside on the model is that it's got a rather unimpressive 3.2 megapixel camera, that comes with the standard flash, panorama and 4x digital zoom feature. This seems a radical downgrade compared to the other new models on the market, but I guess it’s sacrificing one feature for the other.
The maps facility has not yet fully been utilised in mobiles as of yet, and with the N95 offering the first generation of Nokia devices to use this technology, it would seem Nokia has learnt a fair bit from their experiences with the 6210 by improving on what is a very solid piece of kit.
This phone is for the someone who is always on the go and instantly wants to know where they are. It's not really ideal for someone wanting to show off the quality of their drunken nights out or for anyone wanting to enjoy the benefits of video calling.

One thought on “Switch on the Nokia 6210 GPS Navigator for Directions Now!”
I used to have a Nokia 6110 Navigator, and I was thrilled with its GPS software, then I lost it to the sea and was upgraded with the 6210.
The 6110 used Route 66 while the 6210 uses Navteq.
I’m extremely disappointed in the 6210 gps software, it’s not a patch on the 6110 software!
It also requires a license renewal every year, and when I saw that it still doesn’t measure up I declined renewing.
Can anyone tell me if its possible to install the route 66 software on the 6210?
