The WiFi Watch – Never Be Lost Again

Ever been in town or at the airport and wished there was a WiFi spot with enough strength to get a decent connection, or are you one of those that will wander around the place with your laptop in the air screaming “God, give me a signal worthy of my internet needs”?

If your the latter then you might get some funny looks from the local chavs in your area if not a fully on discharge of verbal diarrhoea from them. Well the WiFi Watch will sort all those problems out for you.

Let’s be honest, it’s not the best looking watch on the market and it looks more than one of those you get for a tenner down at your local Asda store, with the ‘silver’ face guard and the black wristband it’s not going to do any favours for your street cred. That is until you show someone what it does.

So how does it work, well simply press the WiFi button and the watch will start looking for a local WiFi hotspot. Once it's found a target it will display to you the strength of the signal, with 0 being the weakest and 8 being the strongest. Move around a bit and the watch will change its strength number depending on which side of the scale it falls under.

You can also use this as a normal watch and alarm, so its multi-functional too.

If WiFi is a must have for you then this watch might just be the thing you are looking for, just don't be excepting to impress people at first glance.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
