Boogie Board RIP Lets You Save and Export Your Notes

Sure, we all are expert in touch typing and then Swype arrived to make things even easier. But let's admit it that there are times when we just want to get back to good old pen and paper and leave all the QWERTYs and touchpad behind. This is especially true if you have lots of note taking to do. However, there are dozens of devices like digital pens to make your life easier, but most of these products leave a lot to be desired.

In the quest of that perfect gadget, Improv Electronics has come up with its range of Boogie Board eWriters and it would be demoeing the latest addition to the range. New RIP (Record, Image, Preserve) is a 9.5 inch device, which lets you scribble your thoughts with the help of a digital pen. However, in this edition, you also get a new Save feature. Further, just attach the board to your computer and voila! You are all set to export your notes to the computer. For this purpose, the board is equipped with a micro USB port.

The gadget is pretty power efficient too. It uses Kent Displays Reflexâ„¢ No Power LCDs and thus claims to give you almost a week's worth of operations on a single charge. It lets you save your notes in PDF format. The company said that the device is helpful in reducing paper waste and thanks to its save and export function, it is more efficient as well. The device is expected to hit the markets in November this year. However, the company did not provide any pricing details.
