Record Harvest of Mango Phones Expected in September

Despite its best efforts, Microsoft is still languishing in mobile phone segment. According to a recent report, Microsoft's market share is still in single digit. But come September, things are likely to get changed. Major phone manufacturers such as LG, HTC and Samsung are planning to flood the market with Windows Mango devices. A few days back, Toshiba-Fujitsu became the first company to announce Windows Mango phone and now, it looks like that Mango has attracted quite a few suitors.

HTC will be launching phones with 3.8 inches and 4.7 inches displays. The phones are expected to be equipped with Qualcomm CPUs. Though, it is not officially confirmed, but these new phones are likely to be HTC Ignite and HTC Prime. The leaked photographs of the phones have been doing rounds on the Internet for quite some time.

Microsoft's preferred partner Nokia is also expected to launch its range of Widows Mango phones by the end of this year. Apart from these front-runners, the companies like ZTE and Acer are also planning to partner with Mango. The timing of these devices could not be more appropriate, since Apple's iPhone is also  expected to hit the market at about the same time. Market has not been kind to Windows Phone so far, let's see if things change for better with the latest version.
