Lulzec To Leak News International Emails Today?

Lulzec said they had finished the voyage of cyber mischief, then the arrests came and now they're as active as ever. There's been plenty of Tweets from the activists warning the police that they are still intact despite operations from the FBI and UK Ecrime division. They've hacked some powerful corporations (like Paypal and Sony) but what they do next could secure infamy.

As hack-gate gets darker and deeper Lulzec claim to have a nuke which could blow the whole situation sky high and send repercussions around the world.

The group claim to have 4GB of emails taken from the Sun they also appear to have the email addresses and passwords of News International staff including Rebekah Brooks. This isn't the first attack on the media giants either. The hactivists in a recent, rather sick prank, set up fake pages reporting 'the death of Rupert Murdoch' and hacked the Sun's online page to redirect users to the fabricated news story.

Unsurprisingly News International aren’t taking the threat lightly and has stopped all external access to its webmail systems and has forced users to reset their passwords.

The group say that they may release the data as earlier as this afternoon. The cyber-attacks follow comedy Jonny Marble's attempt to 'custard pie' Murdoch. Clearly there's a lot of anger directed at News International and if there's anything incriminating in the leaked emails, things could get a whole lot worse.

An absolute tech junky, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Computing and now live on the outskirts of Leeds working with you guessed it, Computers. I love all things gadgety but really dislike wires. For those of you who haven’t worked it out the name of the site is a combination of my nickname (Gaj) and the pronunciation ‘Gadget’.
