O2 has launched its own 'deals' program called 'Priority Moments' for offering you big discounts on stuff like cinema tickets and books. The service is available on mobile phones and hits you with location based offers. O2 has already tied with 30 big brands in the UK. "Priority Moments" app is available for both Android and iOS. However, if you do not own iPhone or Android phone, you can simply log on to Priority Moments' website and avail of the services.
The current O2 offers include 50 percent discount on books from WHSmiths and 33 percent discount at Yo Sushi. Other deals include 50 percent discount on Odeon cinema tickets and deals from Pizza Hut and Harvey Nichols. The new program is very obviously a direct attack at the similar program carried out by Orange and of course Orange is not happy about it. The carrier has asserted that Orange Wednesdays program is still "as popular as ever". Orange also claimed that it had a blockbuster month in June and it carried out more than 800,000 redemptions in the month.
O2 Priority Moments is simple to use and you do not need to print the vouchers. O2 stated that it expects the program to save £105 per month for an average customer. The app is now available to be downloaded and would provides you with deals based on your previous shopping sprees.
