Apple are continuing their sue-fest as they seemingly try and find a judge who will throw the book at every single competitor in the market until Steve and his chums are the only ones left and we are all stuck with iPhones and iPads whether we like it or not.
After giving Samsung a hard time in court, Apple has moved onto another Android partnered manufacturer, HTC.
A complaint has been filed with the US International Trade Commission accusing the guys behind the Desire of infringing patents.
A specific description of the technology supposedly stolen from Apple has not been released; however as statement by the accused has. HTC said- “HTC is dismayed that Apple has resorted to competition in the courts rather than the market place.” Well said HTC, although if you did infringe"¦ I guess it's Apple's right to protect their products, but still it does seem like a strategic business move than an actual 'my God I can't believe you stole our stuff, I'm so offended.'
It's not that HTC have found themselves in Apple's crosshairs, in March last year 20 infringements were claimed by Apple. But it works both ways, HTC counter-accused Apple of 5 of their own infringements.
How long is this going to go on for?
