UPDATE: Full Review found here.
Yesterday we attended the LG Secret mobile phone event exclusive to bloggers at a very plush hotel in London. After some light nibbles and drinks, Jeremy, the Head of Mobile Marketing for LG got down to business and gave us a presentation into the LG’s ‘not so secret now’, Secret mobile phone.
Along with your normal features that you would find in the mobile phone, the LG Secret phone offered some tasty feature filled goodies, such as 3G, DivX, 5 megapixel camera (the thinnest in the world in a mobile). The M-Toy feature is what I loved the most which comprised of mini Wii style games aswell as boasting an amazing carbon fibre shell and tempered glass screen. The design is really sexy and their slogan being ‘style that lasts’, was proved when we really gave the phone a beating and there wasn’t a single a mark on it.
To thank us for attending the event, the generous guys at LG also gave us a free LG Secret mobile phone to take away and review. I’ll be testing it out this week and getting to grips with the features…no doubt looking silly trying out the Nintendo Wii style games on the train!
As well as getting to know LG’s latest Secret, the event also gave us a chance to mingle with some fellow bloggers, and bounce of ideas as well as seeing that it’s not only guys getting techie but us girls as well!
When asked by us what LG’s future plans were to compete with the likes of the Apple iPhone, by offering GPS capabilities, a more seamless way to share content and Wi-Fi, Jeremy was quite hush hush about the whole thing but said that ‘there are great things to come’. LG might be secretive about it things now but in the world of gadgets; things don’t stay secretive for long.
The review for the LG Secret phone will be coming soon so keep your eyes and ears at the ready…

Thanks for the invite LG..
I might start blogging too.
me too. I’d love one of these phones
Now that the secret is revealed, it seems that the marketing and promoting strategy is the next big thing taking place at LG now, apart from much more secrets to come…
I would have loved to attend the bloggers event in London where Geremy gave an open presentation on the SECRET. I also like the idea of their wisdom and two-way promotional strategy by distributing the SECRET for review and personal satisfaction.
No Wonder that’s how the SECRET will be revealed to the millions with generosity.
Deepti,
I think your so right, they will be promoting this heavily later this year. They also give us a sneak peak into the ad whilst we were there and it was slick.
There were a few tech and style bloggers there so you should try and attend next time.
The LG Team were great fun, Jeremy told me that I should remove the plastic cover, I reluctantly said okay and my face dropped as he smacked it with a coin to prove that you can’t scratch it. It was really funny at the time but he proved it just won’t scratch. Still if anybody else tries it I won’t be so nice :)
I hope LG and other Manufacturer hold many more of these.
Hopefully LG will be supplying us with a video we can put up on the site too.
I must say LG knows the business rules! No Wonder their products are good but their marketing strategy is even better. Its like topping on the ice-cream!
I really liked the case of scratching the phone. Jeremy then and there proved that its scratch free which is a very small thing to promote as compared to the rich features it holds; You won’t just spend your time marketing it as a scratch free product.
But I feel that’s where LG is special; So conveniently Jeremy conveyed the message to the audience and about spreading the meaasge leave it to the press. Nobody better than them can pass on the message to the world that its SCRATCH FREE!
Interesting. A follow up of how it was would be nice :)
