Modern Warfare Ghost Voice Actor Hints At May Announcement

Move along Treyarch, it's Activision's turn. Just as we get the news that COD doesn't turn is into psycho killer we can all get excited about the latest instalment to the multi-million dollar franchise. Rumour has it that the officially confirmation (and hopefully some sneak previews) of Modern Warfare 3 will be on their way this month.

And you've got to love the source of the tip off. Not some weird Chinese tech blogger, but in fact, a COD voice actor. Craig Fairbrass who provided the voice for Gaz and the iconic Ghost character was asked what he was up to in an interview and interestingly he responded with

"I've just been out in LA doing something that's going to be announced in May."

"I've just been out there doing some bits and pieces, and one is to do with"¦ I can't say too much."

Whenever it's announced it should be a good one. Call of Duty never disappoints and despite sales figures to the contrary, many 'hardcore COD fans' prefer the Modern Warfare series than Treyarch's attempts. Also in the Modern Warfare 2 rumour pot is claims that the game is being developed by an all-star cast featuring Infinity Ward along and FPS specialist Raven Software in the new Sledgehammer Games studio.

Following the success of Ghost the cult character from 2 is rumoured to be making a major appearance in the new COD. Which would mean that chronological the plot of 3 will predate prior games. It would explain the work of Fairbrass.

But if he proves to be truthful we'll find out in the next few weeks.
