I would give it as a gift to my Mum whose laptop is incredibly slow and is very unenjoyable for her to use now.

  • Bernie TYRRELL

I would love to win this prize, with three children in secondary school, I very rarely get access to the computer until the last one heads for bed!! This would be a god send to me – thanks for offering such a brilliant prize!!

  • Jane Adair

I would use it to give my 15year old daughter every advantage she can get as she heads into starting her A levels in September. Life and education is hard enough and she works very hard and deserves to be given something that unfortunately I will never be able to afford for her

For the past six months i’ve been researching, researching, researching for a business I want to set up. it’s been my dream to be my own boss and employ other people, and i’m almost ready to take the plunge. There’s just one thing missing that would get me on my way… a lap top. Any help would be much appreciated – and i’ll see you at the business awards one day.

  • As I am ALWAYS on the go, this precious little machine will come very handy. I need to be online for my studies and for my comping!
    Come to me…

  • Lisa Rowsell

I would use it to help keep me up to date with my work, and to keep in touch with friends, and family.

  • Graham Judge

I’d use it to keep up to date with all my friends and my favourite websites when out and about as it is a nice small laptop!

  • I would either give it to my brother, my mother, or keep it myself to make music with.

  • If I was lucky enough to win I would give it to my sister, who in my opinion needs it more than me. She’s a wonderful sister and deserves to have something nice for a change. I’d love to brighten her day, week, month and year by saying I have a wonderful present for you.

  • Angie Allen

I would give it to my son so he could do his home work.

  • Ian Green

I would use it with a smile
Id be so full of glee
    This baby cost me nothing
    I got it for free.
I love the ACER lots n lots
I hope the postman pops it through my letterbox.

  • nikki mclaren

Would have to give it to my boyfriend, he’s been after a netbook for work as he travels a lot

  • Jenegade

I would use this netbook at home as our current laptop is getting old and the buttons don’t work very well! It would be great for keeping my blog up-to-date and staying in touch with friends.

  • Karis Boone

I would use it to keep in touch with my best friend, who is moving to Australia next month.

  • jamie harwood

i would use it to enter a competition to win an acer netbook as i love em sooooo much

  • KENNETH Deed

I would use it for writing my novel on the go.

  • I would use this in my bedroom so I can have an early night with my hubby (who has to go to bed early with his job)rather than sit downstairs alone with my larger pc.

  • Sheila Sefton

I would give it to my daughter to help her do her homework and keep her Facebook up to date!

  • I’d take it with my on holidays so I can perhaps do that travel blog I’ve wanted to do for some time!

  • My boyfriend is in a band and they do a lot of self-recording, especially at the moment with their upcoming EP. The problem with this is that because my boyfriend has the laptop with the recordings on, I never see him!! This sleek little beauty would be donated to them, in the hope that I can once again see my boyfriend in the evenings. Not to mention that if they become famous/successful, it’ll of course (ahem) be down to me :D

  • I would take it out paragliding so that I can upload some amazing videos/photos to show everyone stuck at home/work what they’re missing out on ;-)

  • I’d use this to store all of my work documents. I work as a teacher and my antique of a laptop that I’ve relied on for years recently had a virus and I lost EVERYTHING! I’m sure this Acer laptop would be much more reliable. Would also be ideal for keeping up with friends from uni and also family.

  • David Sweet

  • Mark Dawson

Ooooooeeeeeerrrrrrrr Great Prize. Been saving one of these for ages, but my car has to be replaced :(

  • Jacqueline Burton

I would give this to my daughter to help her with her studies so she no longer hogs our shared computer!! It would also be very useful for her at university in a few years time. It would save buying a new computer for her when I’ll have those huge fees to pay!!

  • Yasmin Butt

Acer as aces when it comes to technology. My first laptop all the way back in 1996 was designed by you guys. I would love this one because I could write on the hoof. I’m an aspiring writer with a bad back so your lightweight lovely netbook would be perfect for me. You would also be helping me out with a dose of Vitamin D when I take me and my shiny new friend out into the sun. If you pick me as your winner, you’ll make my summer, autumn and winter too and get me back out there, dreaming up stories but sat alongside the rest of the human race. I’d love that : )

  • Angela Owen

Help!, I’m being fleeced by three students!
Laptop really needed for one of them to save my (nonexistant) cash!.

  • Emma Barron

I would give it to my daughter for her 5th Birthday as she is always using my Acer. She loves going on all the pre-school sites like CBeebies, Nick Jr, etc and as she gets older she could use the laptop for school homework.

  • Jemma Broadstock

I just found out I got into a performing arts school that I auditioned for a few months ago. They only accept 300 people so I’m REALLY lucky but it’s about an hour away so I’ll be spending most of my time on trains. The laptop I have at the moment is broken so I can’t shut the lid or carry it around with me and I can’t afford a new one but if I won this Netbook I’d be able to take it with me everyday so I can keep up with my blogs whilst on the train!

  • Natasha Barnes

I would use it every day as my current laptop is held together with duct tape as the screen is broken!

  • Christine Williams

I’ve just looked up the free wifi hot spots in my area and they’re all in pubs, so I guess I would use my Acer whilst getting sozzled!

  • I would like a new lappy because the one I am using have had been hacked a lots and junks sent to my email box, also been spam. Recently it Freeze that is bad enough to give me a hell lots to get it fix. :(

If I win, i perhaps give my old one to the charity of my choice.

  • kendra Florence

I would give this to my husband so I can get rid of the large computer and desk out of my dining room and have back this room for entertaining.

  • Tony Wilks

I would load Skype onto it so that I can speak and see my son who works abroad

  • I would use it on the go

  • I would use it to buy duck eggs on ebay

  • Carol Rowley

I would use it myself when ever I like instead, of having to wait for the kids to stop using the laptop and pc.

  • I would use it to write my blog posts on the go. Also, I’m trying to start a business that needs constant connection to the net so it would be handy for doing bits of work on the go rather than it all stacking up for when I’m home.

  • I would give it to my girlfriend as a present :) As im nice like that hehe,

  • FARIDAH BROOKER

I would use my Acer to help my son with his homework.

  • Sue Harrison

I’d love to win the Acer Netbook to stay in touch with all my facebook and twitter friends , when we go off on our campervan tours :)

  • I would use this laptop,to firstly teach my 66 year old mom how to get online and surf the internet, and secondly to help me set up my own business. GoodLuck All

  • Mandy James

I would give this to my hubby as he is on his pc in the dining room while im on my laptop in the living room. So maybe then we could spend some time together in the same room :)

  • Claire Jones

I would use it to search Gaj-it.com’s website for the latest news and reviews. Like you, I’m mad about gadgets and when quality and style is a must, Gaj-it’s the name I can trust.

  • emma cella

I would love to win this prize, It would be handy for my daughter in secondary school study for her GCSE at the moment
