So it looks like Apple's famous timing bug has hit their own shipping of the new iPad 2 to shops in the UK for Fridays eagerly anticipated launch.
Reports are coming in over the web that they will not start selling the iPad 2 until 5pm and not the expected 9am start time.
Apparently the delay is due to timing mistake with the shipping and may force Apple to miss out on sizeable chunk of trading day.
If true, those who had hoped to queue to get their hands on the Apple’s device first thing in the morning will be disappointed.
The mini delay will no doubt cause a mad rush as shops frantically deal with customer transactions in the few trading hours left open to them.
The earliest you’ll be able to buy an iPad 2 in the UK will be 5pm on Friday, according to a new report.
Robert Peckham, former executive director of the Mac Technology Association reseller group, told PCR the delay was caused by a mistake in shipments.
The UK launch of the iPad 2 was rumoured to have suffered a delay following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.
But Apple stated yesterday that they had nothing to add - suggesting everything is ok with the UK launch on Friday.

Nonsense, most Apple stores in the UK get their iPad2 deliveries today, 3 remaining stores will get theirs tomorrow by mid day with all the merchandising required.
The codes have been on the system since the day of the announcement.
There is nothing stopping them selling at 9am unless they actually chose to sell at 5pm.
