Easter is approaching and eggs are boring. Have fun and stay healthy by getting yourself a new game. It's the most exciting game charts we've seen in a while and there's a whole host of top titles battling it out.
We told you last week that Pokemon had dominated the game charts but the Nintendo rain is officially over as Homefront storms into first place. If you've got Spotify then you'd have no doubt had Homefront adverts rammed down your throat between every other song. "The thinking man's Black Ops" they call it. That's enough to get me interested. After so many attack dog killstreaks and crossbow kills, things are starting to get boring in camp COD and unless you've forked out for the map packs and add ons you'll be looking for a new way to waste your time.
Homefront could be the perfect game for Shooter fans this Easter. The dystopian plot is eerily realistic and engaging: A once proud America has fallen, her infrastructure shattered and military in disarray. Crippled by a devastating EMP strike, the USA is powerless to resist the ever expanding occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Greater Korean Republic. And if there's one thing missing from COD it’s tanks. Homefront hands us vehicular combat on a plate, and you don't get better than that.
For more Geeky gamers Dragon Age II is knocking around in the gaming charts as well as Shogun 2: Total war which is high in the multi-console charts despite being a PC only game (which is very impressive.)
Sports fans have a host of options: Fight Night Champion, Just Dance 2, Fifa 11 and TopSpin 4.
So what takes your fancy?
