Come on let's be honest you want a 3DS don't you? We all do! Nintendo never cease to entertain us (no matter what our age or tech adequacy.) They always seem to have their finger on the pulse. Wii changed how games could be played (later to be appropriated by Sony and Microsoft) and the DS went from a portable games device to family friendly do-it-all piece of kit that can offer games, cook-books, brain-training, puzzles and just about everything else.
And now they've gone and plonked one of the hottest pieces of technology straight onto their console, 3D. You hear it every day 3D this 3D that, but unless you've seen Avatar your probably still yet to experience 3D, not only will the 3DS be great fun but to many it will be the door to 3D.
But can you afford one? Clever folks will wait for its prices to start slipping after release. But for those who can't wait let's take a look at the current prices.
Morrison's- £187
HMV- £196.99
John Lewis- £197
Argos- £219.99
Tesco- £197
As you can see Morrison's cheapest at the moment. Tesco will probably cut their prices when they find out about this and supermarkets are probably going to be your best bet for a cheap 3DS but of course game/electorincs stores will be dishing out deals, support, more choice of colour etc.
Happy shopping.
