Android 2.3.3 Update for Nexus: How Many Glitches Did you Face?

Updates are supposed to make your device and consequently your life better. But the process of their deployment is rarely smooth. Some companies, like Microsoft, manage to make a complete mess of their update process while others, like Google, do it in a better way but still face their fair share of obstacles and glitches. Following the roll out of its 2.3.3 update for Nexus Phones, Google had to contend with problem of apparent discoloration of screen. Although, the company brushed off the consequences by calling them 'intended'.

Then came the Google Voice malfunction, where users were unable to connect with Google Voice application after updating the software on their phone. However, apparently this problem was not limited to Nexus phones only. Owners of other handsets running on 2.3.3 also claimed to face the same problem. While this hitch is still brewing, Google now has one more setback to deal with. The latest trouble is related to the deterioration of battery life after installing the update. Some users are claiming alarming increase in their battery power consumption, which is leaving their handsets high and dry even in the idle mode. Although, users are discussing this problem over the discussion boards, any official word from Google is yet to be heard. So, are you facing any such hiccups? Do let us know.
