Angry Birds has won many accolades including conquering the top spot in the Apple App Store. The game which was initially
released on Apple iOS platform, became such a huge phenomenon that its creator company, Rovio, expanded the game's reach to other platforms as well. Currently, the game is available for Android, Symbian and Windows platform. And yea, you can also hit those green pigs on your PSP or PlayStation 3 as well. However, the expansion of the game is not over yet, as the company announced that it is planning to release a Facebook version of the game. The new version is likely to be available next month.
Keeping its tradition of releasing special editions of the game, Rovio is also planning to launch 'Angry Birds Rio'. The new edition will be closely associated with the 20th Century Fox' animated Movie, Rio. Expect your Angry Birds to frolic around in Rio de Janeiro and save various movie characters. Well, now we have legitimate reason to be on Facebook.
