Google is taking its online MarketPlace integration to a new level. In addition to allow in-app purchases on Android platform, thecompany is now looking to let you make such purchases online as well. The new service is likely to launch some time in May this year. Google might be using Jambool's Social Gold software for creating its own payments platform. The online search behemoth had bought Jambool last year and if the rumors are to be believed then the payment platform is already in the beta mode.
The new platform is also expected to be integrated with Google accounts and Google Checkout. The company will be holding its I/O conference in May and we hope to get more information about the new payment system at the event. Currently, Android MarkePlace apps use a variety of platforms for accepting payments. These platforms range from PayPal to Zong. So, we just got to wait to see how Google platform for Android MarketPlace and web changes the things for app developers and users.
