We still do not have confirmed dates for the arrival of WiFi only Xoom tablet, but at least the pricing of the contraption has been confirmed. UK retailer PC World announced that it has received exclusive rights on the WiFi version and the retailer has set the price at £449.99 or $734. Xoom 3G is all set to make its UK appearance in April and will be distributed via Carphone Warehouse.
Although earlier today, PC World website exhorted you to "Pre-order Today" but the tab was reported to be non-functional. Currently, website tell you to "come back soon" for more information and also has taken down the pricing information. The much hyped tablet comes with dual-core processor and is a flagship device for Android Honeycomb. The tablet is fitted with a 5MP camera and can act as a fully functioning HD camcorder. For better sound quality, the tablet has built in stereo sound speakers.
