Google has finally started rolling out its Android 2.3.3 version for Nexus series and this time over Nexus One is not being treated like poor cousin. The update has been released for both Nexus One and Nexus S and it brings much coveted NFC treats for the phones. With Nexus S, you can not only read but also write NFC tags. The new update will also let Nexus S act as a NFC tag itself.
2.3.3. update is also expected to fix random reboot problem faced by Nexus S. The update will also eliminate other minor bugs. However, in a bid to push it data portability schema, Google seemed to have disabled contact sync in Facebook. In simple words, it means that you will not be able to use your Facebook contact info on your phone. Currently, Nexus S is the only phone with such restriction, but 2.3.3 update will bring this non-feature to other phones as well. The change will not affect Nexus One.

Any idea where I get this update from manually? I have a Nexus S from Carphone Warehouse in the UK and I’m still on 2.3.2 with all it’s bugs.
