Motorola's popular Android tablet the Xoom is set to jump shore to the UK in the second quarter of this year (supposedly around May time.)
According to an article in the Telegraph the tablet will be available from Carphone Warehouse, Currys and PC World with the latter two having the wi-fi model, and Carphone Warehouse having the 3G and wi-fi slate.
It remains to be seen how much the Xoom will cost us but In the U.S the prices are fairly hefty with consumers having to fork out $800 for the 3G model and $600 for Wi-Fi.
But, you do get what you pay for.
The Xoom has a 1GHz dual-core processor, twin cameras, an accelerometer, gyroscope, HDMI out and Honeycomb which may be enough to tempt some.
We'll let you know as soon as the price is confirmed. No doubt the retailers will start allowing people to pre-order online in the next few weeks.
