Although many mobile phone carriers are offering Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, but looks like O2 is the only one to have a white
version in its portfolio. While white iPhone is still a mythical device, it is comforting that other handset makers are quite agile in releasing their phones in the non-color version. The phone will also have matching white docking station. However, the phone's color is not the coolest thing about this handset, the more important thing is to see if this phone can become 'the gaming phone' or not.
Xperia Play comes with 1 GHz Scorpion ATMv7 processor and sport 4 inch TFT, multi touch screen. This gaming phone also has an e-compass and 3-axis accelerometer. Xperia Play has a dual camera, where its front camera has VGA resolution and rear camera is 5.1 megapixels.

Some people will always prefer white, but really, for most people, black is the best colour for a phone, or indeed ANY device with a display.
Black is the least offensive colour, the most subtle…which is what you need when staring at a screen, not having a white or coloured border which is more distracting.
I’ve known many people who go for the white version of something, like a phone or psp, because of the inital novelty value of looking cool, only to realise later, it never looked cool, and then they find it hard to sell again. White is not a good colour for electriconical devices with screens.
