Motorola Xoom has received some rave reviews and finally its pricing has been revealed. Xoom WiFi+4G tablet has been given aprice tag of $799, free of contract. The tab will be available via Verizon Wireless. Currently, Xoom will connect to Verizon's 3G network and will later upgrade to 4G LTE network. The upgradation is likely to take place later this year. There will not be any long term contract for data plans, but the subscribers will need to pay a monthly fee for using 3G or 4G. Xoom's WiFi version has been priced at $599.
Motorola Xoom is flagship Honeycomb tablet and it features 10.1 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet is adorned with 1GHz dual core processor. Xoom also features two camera, where its front facing camera is 2MP whereas rear camera is capable of taking pictures at 5 MP resolution. Apart from all these, the tablet also has a bevy of other features such as HDMI out, accelerometer, a gyroscope, a compass and a barometer.
