Flipoutz are one gadget for you trend spotters to look out for. Currently starting a fashion craze in America, Flipoutz are a kiddy craze of colourful discs (called coins) similar to Pogs (remember them?!). Except instead of throwing a slammer at them, you stick them in a gel bracelet and show 'em of to your buddies so you can trade and collect more. And if it's big in the USA then no doubt it'll land on UK soil next.
Now you're probably scoffing and thinking that such a simple pleasure won't appeal to children of the technological age. Well, this is where Flipoutz unveil their big selling point: The Flipoutz Profile.
On the Flipoutz website you can register your coins using a unique code found on the back of each one. Then when you trade it, your friend will register it on their profile. And then when THEY trade it"¦ well you get the idea. Eventually you can track your original coin on its journey across the country and even (if Flipoutz do take off internationally) across the world.
