Engadget has got its hands on what appears to be a copy of a future Best Buy circular which is set to appear in Sunday newspapers on February 20.
What the advertisement shows is that the upcoming Motorola’s Xoom tablet will be available in store from February 24 for a bank-busting $800.
The Xoom is shown with a $799.99 price tag along with the text “Available in store Thursday, February 24.”
And if you don't think you've spent enough money, then there’s also an option of a “Custom Fit Folio” for an extra $39.99.
Also leaked, are Verizon’s data plans for the Xoom (as seen below)-
1 GB – $20/month
3 GB – $35/month
5 GB – $50/month
10 GB – $80/month
The Xoom will launch with only 3G connectivity with 4G on its way after a post-release firmware update. It will also come equipped with a 10.1-inch display, 1 GB of RAM, and dual cameras (2 MP front-facing, and 5 MP rear-facing).
But at $800 it's even more expensive than the iPad even with the promise of 4G will consumers be willing to pay?
